GARDEN COFFEE
high altitude coffee beans
Garden Coffee is proud to offer premium, single-origin, high-altitude coffee beans. We fresh-roast your specialty coffee to order in Littleton, Colorado. We roast in small batches and even custom-roast to order, so you always receive the freshest possible product from Garden Coffee.
Direct Trade relationships
We buy direct from the farmer wherever possible. Our beans are sourced from small family farms where sustainability for the family’s future is far more important than instant profits. This philosophy results in a naturally organic, shade-grown product that is truly worthy of Fair-Trade compensation. We are proud to pay our farmers more than the commodity market offers. We have established a relationship with a processor/exporter that makes this direct trade arrangement possible and economical for the farmers and you, the consumer, here in the USA.
Each season, we will feature beans from other small farms in Honduras as we are introduced to new farmers in our network. We support hard-working families that take pride in producing premium specialty coffee. They understand the value of family support and respect for the earth.
While Garden Coffee offers great coffees from other origins around the world, Honduran coffee is our specialty.

High-Quality Specialty Coffee

DIVERSE ECOSYSTEM
Specialty Coffee done right
Garden Coffee partners with producers who take great pride in their proven, sustainable farming practices.
Our flagship specialty coffees, including Finca Los Pinos, Finca Valentina, Finca Buena Vista, Finca Las Lichas, and others, have earned international quality certifications such as, Fair Trade, Rain forest Alliance, USDA Organic, and UTZ. These farmers cut only enough trees from the high-mountain rain forest to allow filtered sunlight to reach their Arabica coffee bushes. Most of the natural forest is left intact, creating a bio-diverse ecosystem which is naturally resistant to pests and disease.
Our Mission
John and Delmy Mattos started Garden Coffee in 2017. Delmy, a native Honduran who immigrated to the USA in 2000, had aspired to be involved in the coffee business. Her desire to help the small family farmers of her native country is the foundation of Garden Coffee.
Our mission statement: Garden Coffee strives to provide better coffee products to American consumers at a fair price while helping our coffee-growing partners achieve a sustainable, profitable future.
